Ambient temperature

The temperature of the surrounding air or environment at a specific location and time. It is the temperature that an unheated or uncooled object would eventually reach if left exposed to the atmosphere. This measurement is a fundamental meteorological parameter, typically recorded in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit.
