Frost day

A day on which the minimum air temperature recorded at a standard meteorological height (typically 1.5 to 2 meters above ground) falls to 0 degrees Celsius (32 degrees Fahrenheit) or below. This metric is used to characterize the severity and duration of cold periods in a given location. The number of frost days varies significantly with latitude and altitude.
