Frost damage

Injury or destruction to plants, crops, or infrastructure caused by freezing temperatures and the formation of ice. In plants, ice crystals can form within cells, rupturing them, or in intercellular spaces, dehydrating cells. Infrastructure damage includes cracking of roads and foundations due to frost heave.
