Frostburn

Damage to plant tissues caused by exposure to freezing temperatures, resulting in the destruction of cells and subsequent wilting or blackening of affected parts. This injury is distinct from desiccation or windburn, though symptoms can sometimes appear similar. It often occurs when temperatures drop below 0 degrees Celsius for an extended period.
