Lightning damage

Physical harm or destruction caused by a lightning strike, which can include structural damage to buildings, fires, power outages, and injury or death to living organisms. The intense heat, high current, and electromagnetic pulse of lightning are responsible for these effects. Protection systems, such as lightning rods, are designed to mitigate this damage.
