Reaumur temperature scale

A temperature scale where the freezing point of water is set at 0 degrees and the boiling point is at 80 degrees, both at standard atmospheric pressure. This scale was historically used in some parts of Europe but has largely been superseded by the Celsius and Fahrenheit scales. Each degree Reaumur is equivalent to 1.25 degrees Celsius.
