Temperature scale
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-009539
A system for quantifying temperature, defined by specific reference points and intervals. Common scales in meteorology include Celsius, Fahrenheit, and Kelvin, each with distinct zero points and unit sizes. The Kelvin scale is an absolute thermodynamic scale, where 0 K represents absolute zero, the theoretical point of no molecular motion.
