Arheic

Describing a region or area that lacks any surface drainage or organized river systems, meaning water does not flow out to the sea or into an internal basin. Precipitation in such areas either evaporates, infiltrates the ground, or collects in temporary depressions. These conditions are common in extremely arid environments, such as parts of the Sahara Desert.
