Automatic weather station

A self-contained meteorological station that automatically collects and transmits weather data from its location. It typically measures parameters such as air temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, atmospheric pressure, and precipitation. These stations are deployed globally to provide continuous weather observations, especially in areas where human observers are not present.
