Azimuth resolution
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-003760
The ability of a radar system to distinguish between two targets at the same range but at different angular positions. It is determined by the radar's beamwidth and the distance to the target. A smaller azimuth resolution indicates a finer detail in the angular separation of objects.
