Wideband radar

Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-010236

A type of radar system that transmits and receives signals across a broad range of frequencies, allowing for higher resolution and more detailed information about targets. This technology improves the ability to distinguish between closely spaced objects and to characterize target properties. It is often used in atmospheric research for detailed studies of precipitation and cloud microphysics.
