Clo

A unit of thermal insulation used to quantify the insulating value of clothing or other materials in relation to human comfort. One clo is defined as the amount of insulation required to maintain a comfortable sedentary person at 21 degrees Celsius (70 degrees Fahrenheit) in a normally ventilated room. A typical business suit provides approximately 1 clo of insulation.
