Colored rain

Precipitation that appears discolored due to the presence of suspended particulate matter, such as dust, pollen, or volcanic ash, entrained in the atmosphere. The color can vary widely, from red or brown due to desert dust to yellow from pollen. This phenomenon is often observed downwind of major dust storms or volcanic eruptions.
