Cross-sectional analysis

A type of analysis that examines data collected from many different subjects, such as weather stations or geographical regions, at a single point in time. This method provides a snapshot of conditions or relationships across a population at that specific moment. For example, a study might analyze temperature, pressure, and humidity data from hundreds of weather balloons released simultaneously to construct a vertical profile of the atmosphere.
