Data acquisition system
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-004859
A system designed to collect physical or environmental parameters from sensors and convert them into digital data for processing and storage. In meteorology, these systems are used to gather measurements of temperature, pressure, humidity, wind speed, and other atmospheric variables. They often include sensors, signal conditioning, analog-to-digital converters, and a computer for data logging.
