Deformation zone cloud system

A band of clouds that forms within or along a deformation zone in the atmosphere, often characterized by a distinct elongated or S-shaped pattern. These cloud systems are indicative of strong convergence and ascent of moist air within the deformation field. They can produce precipitation and are frequently observed in satellite imagery.
