Depegram
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-004925
A thermodynamic diagram that plots the dew point depression, the difference between air temperature and dew point temperature, against pressure or altitude. It is used to analyze the vertical distribution of atmospheric moisture, making it particularly effective for identifying and evaluating the depth of dry layers and moist layers. A large dew point depression on the depegram indicates a very dry layer of air at that specific level in the atmosphere.
