Skew t-logp diagram
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-008912
A thermodynamic diagram used in meteorology to plot atmospheric soundings, displaying temperature and dew point as a function of pressure. Its skewed isotherms allow for a clearer visualization of atmospheric stability, moisture content, and potential for convection. Meteorologists use it to analyze vertical atmospheric structure and forecast severe weather.
