Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-004963

An instrument designed to measure the amount of dew deposited on a surface over a specific period. It typically consists of a standardized surface, such as a plate or a leaf, that collects dew, and a mechanism to weigh or quantify the accumulated moisture. One common type is the Duvdevani dew gauge, which uses a wooden block to estimate dew intensity.
