Deposit gauge
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-004930
An instrument designed to collect and measure the amount of atmospheric deposition, such as dust, aerosols, or precipitation, over a specific period. It typically consists of an open-mouthed container that collects material, which is then analyzed for its mass, chemical composition, or volume.
