High-volume filter
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-006255
An air sampling device designed to collect large quantities of particulate matter from the atmosphere over a specified period. It draws a high flow rate of air through a filter medium, which traps aerosols and other airborne particles. The collected material can then be analyzed for chemical composition, mass concentration, or other properties relevant to air quality studies.
