Gas filter correlation spectroscopy
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005875
A remote sensing technique used to measure the concentration of specific atmospheric gases by exploiting their unique absorption spectra. It employs a gas cell containing the target gas to filter incoming radiation, allowing for selective detection of the gas's spectral features. This method is used in instruments for monitoring greenhouse gases and pollutants.
