Tunable laser spectroscopy
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-009831
A spectroscopic technique that uses a laser whose wavelength can be precisely varied to measure the absorption or emission of light by specific atmospheric gases. This method allows for highly sensitive and selective detection of trace gases, such as methane or carbon dioxide, in the atmosphere. It is widely used for atmospheric monitoring, pollution detection, and climate research.
