Diffuse sky radiation

Solar radiation that reaches the Earth's surface after being scattered by molecules and particles in the atmosphere. This radiation comes from all parts of the sky, not directly from the sun. It is a component of global solar radiation and contributes significantly to daylight illumination, especially on cloudy days.
