A coded aviation weather forecast, with the name derived from Flight Forecast, that provides meteorological conditions along a specified air route. The forecast contains data on upper-level winds and temperatures, significant weather phenomena, tropopause height, and details of the jet stream for different flight levels. This information is used by pilots and flight dispatchers for flight planning, including route selection, altitude determination, and fuel calculation.
