Half-power points
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-006153
The frequencies in a filter or resonant circuit where the output power is half of the maximum power. These points correspond to a reduction in voltage or current amplitude by a factor of 1/√2, or approximately 0.707, from the peak value. They define the bandwidth of the system, often expressed in Hertz.
