Power density

The amount of power per unit area or per unit frequency. In atmospheric science, it can refer to the power of electromagnetic radiation per unit area, such as solar irradiance, or the distribution of power across different frequencies in a signal. For radar, it describes the power of the transmitted or received signal per unit area.
