Hydrosphere

The total amount of water on a planet, including water on the surface, underground, and in the air. It encompasses oceans, seas, lakes, rivers, glaciers, ice caps, groundwater, and atmospheric water vapor. The hydrosphere interacts continuously with the atmosphere, lithosphere, and biosphere, forming an integral part of Earth's climate system.
