Hydrosol

A colloidal suspension of solid particles dispersed in water, often referring to fine particulate matter suspended in atmospheric water droplets or ice crystals. These particles can serve as cloud condensation nuclei or ice nuclei, influencing cloud formation and precipitation processes. Atmospheric hydrosols are distinct from aerosols, which are solid or liquid particles suspended in a gas.
