Inch of mercury

A unit of pressure commonly used in meteorology, particularly in the United States, to express atmospheric pressure. It represents the pressure exerted by a column of mercury one inch high at a specific temperature and gravity. One inch of mercury is approximately equal to 33.86 millibars or 25.4 millimeters of mercury.
