Kaikias

The personification of the northeast wind in Greek mythology, one of the Anemoi or wind gods. Kaikias was associated with cold, dry air and was often depicted carrying a shield from which he scattered hailstones, symbolizing the harsh weather brought by this wind. On ancient wind roses, such as the Tower of the Winds in Athens, his position is between Boreas (north wind) and Apeliotes (east wind).
