Llebetjado

A sudden, violent, and short-lived squall occurring in the western Mediterranean, particularly along the Catalan coast of Spain. This type of event is associated with the Llebeig, a strong southwesterly wind, and is characterized by an abrupt increase in wind speed, often accompanied by a brief shower and a rapid drop in temperature. A llebetjado is a localized and transient phenomenon, distinct from a larger-scale storm system.
