Thundersquall

A sudden, violent gust of wind accompanied by thunder and lightning, indicating the presence of a thunderstorm. These events are associated with strong downdrafts from cumulonimbus clouds, leading to abrupt changes in wind speed and direction. Wind speeds in a thundersquall can exceed 50 knots.
