Thunderstorm day

A meteorological observation day during which thunder is heard at a specific location, regardless of the intensity or duration of the storm. This metric is used in climatology to track the frequency of thunderstorm activity over time. A thunderstorm day is recorded if thunder is audible, even if no lightning is seen.
