Transient

Describing a phenomenon or state that is temporary, short-lived, or non-steady, often referring to atmospheric processes that evolve over relatively brief periods. Transient events can include individual thunderstorms, short-term fluctuations in wind speed, or sudden changes in atmospheric pressure. These phenomena contrast with more persistent or climatological features.
