Mesoscale disturbance
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-007219
A perturbation in the atmosphere that occurs on the mesoscale, ranging from a few kilometers to several hundred kilometers in horizontal extent. These disturbances include phenomena such as sea breezes, mountain-valley winds, and organized thunderstorm complexes.
