North Pacific Current

A broad, slow-moving ocean current that flows eastward across the North Pacific Ocean, forming the northern limb of the North Pacific Gyre. It is a continuation of the Kuroshio Current and carries warm waters from the western Pacific towards the North American coast. This current bifurcates into the Alaska Current and the California Current near the North American continent.
