Mindanao Current

A strong, southward-flowing ocean current located off the eastern coast of Mindanao in the Philippines, forming part of the western boundary current system of the North Pacific Ocean. It transports warm, low-salinity water from the North Equatorial Current towards the equator. This current contributes to the complex circulation patterns within the western Pacific warm pool.
