Ordinary cell

A single-cell thunderstorm, also known as a pulse storm, characterized by a relatively short lifespan and a simple life cycle of growth, maturity, and dissipation. It forms in environments with weak vertical wind shear and produces a single, brief burst of heavy rain and sometimes small hail. The entire life cycle of an ordinary cell thunderstorm usually lasts less than an hour.
