Pampero

A sudden, cold, and often violent wind that sweeps across the pampas of Argentina, Uruguay, and southern Brazil. This wind originates from polar air masses moving northward, bringing a sharp drop in temperature, strong gusts, and sometimes thunderstorms. It is associated with the passage of a cold front.
