Pluviometric coefficient

A measure of rainfall seasonality: a month's normal precipitation divided by the average monthly amount, which is one twelfth of the annual normal. A value above one marks a month wetter than the typical month of the year, and a value below one a drier month. Where rainfall has no seasonal rhythm, every monthly coefficient is close to one.
