Powder snow

A type of fresh, dry, and unconsolidated snow characterized by its low density and fine, crystalline structure. It forms under cold, calm atmospheric conditions and is highly prized by skiers and snowboarders. This snow type typically has a water equivalent ratio significantly lower than that of wet or compacted snow.
