A strong, cold, and gusty wind that blows from the mountains of the Caucasus range across the Caspian Sea, particularly affecting the western coast. This wind is a type of katabatic wind, driven by cold, dense air flowing downslope. It can cause significant wave activity and hazardous conditions on the Caspian Sea.
