Rollers

Long, uniform ocean waves that travel in groups, often generated by distant storms and persisting after the local wind has subsided. These waves have a smooth, undulating appearance and can travel thousands of kilometers across the ocean basin. Rollers are characterized by their relatively long wavelengths and periods.
