Satellite pour l'Observation de la Terre

A series of Earth observation satellites developed by France, often referred to by its acronym SPOT. These satellites carry high-resolution optical instruments designed for land surface imaging, providing data for cartography, agriculture, urban planning, and environmental monitoring. SPOT satellites have contributed significantly to global land cover mapping and change detection since the mid-1980s.
