Second-foot day

A unit of water volume, representing the amount of water that flows at a rate of one cubic foot per second for a period of 24 hours. This unit is used in hydrology to express the total volume of water discharged over a day. One second-foot day is approximately equal to 86,400 cubic feet of water.
