Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-008769

A measure of the atmospheric stability and clarity that affects the quality of astronomical observations. It describes the blurring and twinkling of celestial objects caused by turbulence and temperature variations in the Earth's atmosphere.
