Siberian high

A massive, semi-permanent anticyclone that forms over Siberia during the winter months, characterized by extremely cold, dry air and high atmospheric pressure. This high-pressure system is a dominant feature of the Northern Hemisphere's winter circulation. It often leads to clear skies and very low temperatures across much of Asia.
