Single observer forecasting

A method of weather forecasting that relies solely on observations and analysis performed by a single meteorologist or forecaster. This approach emphasizes local knowledge, experience, and direct interpretation of available data without extensive collaboration or numerical model output. It was more prevalent before the advent of widespread meteorological networks and advanced computing.
