Smoke pall

A widespread and dense layer of smoke that covers a large geographical area, significantly reducing sunlight and visibility. This condition often results from extensive wildfires or volcanic eruptions, where large quantities of particulate matter are injected into the atmosphere. A smoke pall can persist for days or weeks, affecting regional climate and human health.
